It's hard trying to find the right gift for that niece or nephew (or any other small kid) that you haven't seen in a while. Kids change their minds like crazy. One minute they want this, the next they want that!
Does she still like frozen? Is that even still a thing? What's Blippi? CocoWho?
Sometimes it's hard to keep up and thats why my suggestion is to get classic, unisex toys that rarely goes out of style.
Getting unisex gifts are also perfect if you decide to give a gift to a set of siblings.
Whether it's for multiple kids or one, these gifts can even be passed down to siblings because they are not gender specific.

1. 4 in One Multistage Tricycle
I have this for Princeton and he loves it! He can peddle himself and when he gets tired I take over! So convenient.
2. Pretend Cleaning Play Set
Kids love modeling their parents! I was actually surprised at how much of a hit this was with all three of my children! I definitely did not mind them sweeping their messes, in fact, I might get them a vacuum next year!
3. Wooden Puzzles
You'd be surprised at how something so simple could be such a huge hit! These little wooden puzzle (there are so many different types) can keep your little kids busy for a while. If you want to see something funny, try putting the puzzle pieces in the wrong slot and watch how your kiddo corrects you!
4. Stacking Toys!
It really does not take much to please small kids. Get something like this and you'll see!
5. A Kitchen Set
Again, another example of something kids love by watching their aprent model the behavior. Your kids see you in the kitchen all the time! They love feeling like mini versions of you and having a miniature kitchen for themselves is something all kids aspire to have.
6. Toy Food
Listen, If it don't cut, it don't count! Lol I don't know why but for some reason they love "cutting food". I guess it's because it's the only time they're allowed to use a knife and although it is a play knife, it still gives the effect of being real with the velcro food. This will be a hit for sure!
7. Ball Pit
We love them as adults, imagine how much a child would thank you for this treat! There are so many types of variations too. So much fun!
8. Swing Set (Or maybe just the swing)
Why go to the park when you can have a swing in your backyard lol. This is a great swing for safety and comfort!
9. For the Budding Artists
This is a great way to support any child that may have an interest in music. Not to mention, look how cute!
10. The Classic Wagon
I don't think these will ever go out of style. Children love to carry their toys around and this is the perfect way for them to do it.
